This lecture will explain the general concepts of Chinese medicine in psychiatry, especially the concept of shen, the energy of the human spirit. This lecture will also explain the four basic skills of TCM in the treatment of mental illness, as well as the three-level diagnostic system, and will also summarize the general laws and basic characteristics of TCM in the treatment of mental illness.
